TCT Technology Innovation materials Award 2017

Materials have been the perennial bugbear since the birth of the Rapid Prototyping industry. Even today, with a significantly expanded set of polymers, metals, ceramics and more available for additive technologies, the consensus is that it’s still holding the industry back. Each new material has the potential to open up a dozen new applications — so which material innovation is worthy of this year’s award?

Following some strong competition and an intensive review we’re delighted to announce that the following projects have been shortlisted in the Technology Innovation Materials category for the TCT Awards 2017:

- Polymaker - Polycast
- Carbon - RPU 70
- Essentium Materials - FlashFuse Filament
- Markforged - Onyx
- Nano Dimension - Conductive & Dielelectric Inks
- DSM Somos - Taurus
